The unprecedented urban challenges arising from rapid population growth, accompanied by resource depletion, social insecurity, and climate anomaly, transcend the traditional confines of vulnerable local communities, significantly impacting the extensive global socio-economic and ecological geographies. These interrelated social, political, and environmental threats highlight the urgent needs for strategic and adaptive responses to a shifting epistemology of urbanization and environmentalization. Confronting these pressing calls, it is imperative to critically reassess, reimagine, and reconfigure the intricate relationships between natural and built environments, fostering innovative solutions that empower our communities to not only endure but to thrive.
